February 22nd - Saturday - SGMFC Monthly Meeting / Chili Cook-off

Meeting will be held in the clubhouse at Carillon at Cambridge Lakes, 1865 Andrew Dr, Pingree Grove.  Feel free to bring your favorite Chili or Soup to share…and maybe a power strip.  Entries will be judged by all with awards, prizes or just a firm handshake given out to the winners.  Don’t have a favorite chili/soup to bring?  No worries, bring some crackers, appetizers, munchies or sweets.

We are requesting an RSVP so we can get a headcount.  Water and soda will be provided…NO alcohol allowed!  Setup will be 2:30-3:00pm, dinner/social time from 3:00-4:30pm and our general meeting to follow.  For more information contact stallions.gate@yahoo.com.

March 15th - Saturday – Durty Nellie’s St. Pat’s Parade in Palatine

Parade lineup will be at 10:00am at Sanborn Elementary School, 101 N Oak St, Palatine.  Parade kickoff is at 11:00am and will end at Durty Nellie’s.  We are looking for 4-5 convertible SGMFC vehicles to participate.  Signup sheet at monthly meetings.  For more information contact stallions.gate@yahoo.com.

March 15th - Saturday - SGMFC Monthly Meeting  **LATER DATE**

Meeting will be held at Metal Edge Creations, 1307 Howard St, Elk Grove Village.  Combination of our monthly meeting and a tour of a private classic car collection.  Social hour from 1:00-2:00pm and our general meeting to follow.  Feel free to bring your own food/drink if you would like.  The tour will take place after the meeting.  For more information contact stallions.gate@yahoo.com.

April 12th - Saturday - SGMFC Monthly Meeting / Show-n-Shine

Meeting will be held at Moretti's Ristorante & Pizzeria, 164 US-12, Fox Lake (847-973-1800).  We will have a Show-n-Shine at 2:00pm (weather permitting) with the dinner/social time from 3:00-4:00pm and our general meeting to follow.

Dinner is a pizza buffet, $33/person  (includes tax/tip), payable to Paul Towle at the meeting.  Buffet will include salad/dressing, bread/butter, mozzarella sticks, penne marinara, chicken fingers, pizza & soft drinks.  Cash bar for alcoholic drinks.  For more information contact stallions.gate@yahoo.com.

May 26th - Monday - Palatine Post 630 American Legion Memorial Day Parade

Parade lineup will be at 9:00am at Illinois Shotokan Karate Clubs, 327 N Eric Dr, Palatine.  Meet up with VIP Veterans at 10:30am and parade kickoff is at 11:00am.  We would like 4-6 SGMFC convertibles for VIP’s plus 6-8 additional vehicles for parade entry.  For more information contact stallions.gate@yahoo.com.

June 7th - Saturday – SuperDawg Drive-In Car Club Cruise Night

Mustang cruise night featuring SGMFC!  Cruise night is from 3:00-8:00pm at the Mt. July 4th - Friday – Glencoe July 4^th Parade

Parade meetup will be at 12:00pm at Turnbull Woods Forest Preserve, on Green Bay Rd just south of County Line Rd, Glencoe.  Parade lineup at 12:30pm and kickoff is at 1:00pm.  We would like to have 4-6 convertibles for parade VIP’s and 4-6 additional cars for additional club representation.  *Glencoe pays our club $250, which we donate to OSOTA!!  Please sign up at a monthly meeting or for more information contact stallions.gate@yahoo.com.

August 3rd – Sunday – Glory Bound Rescue Ranch 4th Annual Car Show

All makes & model show (cars, bikes, trucks, tractors, bicycles, etc).  Show is held at Kishwaukee Brewing Co, 1900 Dillard Court, Woodstock, IL.  Registration is $15, spectators are free.  Awards, goody bags, local craft & direct sales vendors, music, food & drinks, raffles & 50/50, enough room for more than 200 vehicles.  Bring an unopened bag of Pedigree Dog Food and receive 2 raffle tickets for any basket on the table.  ALL proceeds go to Glory Bound Rescue Ranch (501c3)!  For more information contact stallions.gate@yahoo.com or visit Glory Bound Rescue Ranch.

August 23rd – Saturday – 12^th Annual Friendly Ford Car Show

Car show hosted by Friendly Ford at Wintrust Field, 1999 S Springinsguth Rd, Schaumburg.  Gates open at 8:00am till 2:00pm.  This is still a free show to enter your vehicle.  All makes/models and bikes welcomed.  There is no cost to spectators to come and walk around.  Several options of food trucks for you to purchase from will be on site: Aunt Tina's Sound Bites & Dairy Queen.  For more information contact stallions.gate@yahoo.com.

September 1st – Sunday – Buffalo Grove Days Parade

Parade meetup will be at 10:00am at the McDonald’s & Shell gas station, 1200 N. September 21st – Sunday – Santa’s Village Mustang Day

The event will be held at Santa’s Village, 601 E Dundee Ave, East Dundee.  SGMFC will be the featured club for the day, from 11:00am-6:00pm.  We have openings for (20) club vehicles to be parked on display in the park grounds.  (2) free admission tickets per display vehicle plus discounts for additional club members.  **$5 will be donated to OSOTA for each online ticket ordered!  For more information contact stallions.gate@yahoo.com.

December 14th – *Sunday* – SGMFC Christmas Party / Monthly Meeting

Event will be held at Woodfire Tavern, 4868 Illinois Route 83 Corner of Gilmer and Rt 83, Long Grove (847-478-1160) from 3:00-6:00pm.  Dinner at 4:00pm and we will have the regular full menu and separate checks.  Desserts can be brought in and are welcome.  The room will hold 50-60 members.

As in previous years we are asking you to bring a donation for the Schaumburg Food Pantry.  Please keep your donations in your vehicle and we will collect them after the meeting.  We hope you can join us this year for some Holiday Cheer.  For more information contact stallions.gate@yahoo.com.
