9th – Saturday – SGMFC Monthly Meeting / Show-n-Shine
Meeting
will be held at the Lake Lodge inside Saddlebrook Farms, 1 Saddlebrook
Farms Dr, Grayslake (2601 Saddlebrook Dr for the Lake Lodge). Once you enter Saddlebrook Farms
signs will direct you to the Lake Lodge. We will have a Show-n-Shine at 2:00pm
(weather permitting) with the dinner/social time from 3:00-4:00pm and
our general meeting to follow. Food
will be catered from Buona Beef, $25/person. Member can BYOB and desserts are

10th – Sunday – Mustang Brothers Car Show
Car
show hosted by the Mustang Brothers of Mustang Restorations, 15N272 IL
Rt.25, East Dundee. Gates open
at 8:00am. There will be 15-20
spots reserved for our club.
Show meetup at Santa’s Village, 601 Dundee Ave, East Dundee at
7:30am, then head over to the show as a group. Don’t forget Mustang Restorations is
a long-time supporter of our club.

August 16th – Saturday – 3rd Annual
Hoffman Estates Community Car Show
Car
show hosted by the Village of Hoffman Estates at Barrington Square,
2346 W. Higgins Road, Hoffman Estates.
Gates open at 4:00pm till 8:00pm. This is a free show to enter your
vehicle, open to all makes/models.

August 23rd – Saturday – 12th Annual
Friendly Ford Car Show
Car
show hosted by Friendly Ford at Wintrust Field, 1999 S Springinsguth Rd, Schaumburg. Gates open at 8:00am till
2:00pm. This is still a free
show to enter your vehicle. All
makes/models and bikes welcomed.
There is no cost to spectators to come and walk around. Several options of food trucks for
you to purchase from will be on site: Aunt Tina's Sound Bites &
Dairy Queen. For more

August 30th – Saturday – Buffalo Grove Days Parade
Parade
meetup will be at 10:00am at the McDonald’s & Shell gas station,
1200 N. Arlington Heights Rd, Buffalo Grove. We will leave there by 10:30am to
stage for the parade. Parade
starts at 11:30am and should be done by 12:30pm as the parade route is
not that long!! Please sign up

September 6th – Saturday – 75th Illinois Secretary
of State Vehicle Show
The
event will be held at the State Capitol Complex at the corner of
Edwards and College Streets in downtown Springfield. Show
pre-registration is ‘strongly recommended’ to guarantee you can get
into the show! Entry starts at
7:00am, judging starts at 11:00am and award ceremony at 3:30pm.
If
you are planning on staying the weekend, hotel reservations can be made
at: President
Abraham Lincoln Springfield - a Double Tree by Hilton. The reservation is a two-night stay
starting Friday September 5th thru Sunday September 7th. The cost for the 2-night stay is
$119.00 + tax per night. We
currently have 10 rooms reserved for the 2 nights and you must register
by August 14th. For more
